Monero Exchange Rates and XMR Swap Calculator
Check current Monero exchange rates and estimate how much BTC, ETH, or USDT you may receive for XMR. The calculator also supports reverse directions, allowing you to estimate how much Monero you can receive when sending Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Tether.
Select an exchange pair, enter an amount, and review the current reference value before requesting a live quote. Rates refresh automatically every 20 seconds, but the displayed calculation remains an estimate until the exchange terms are confirmed.
Current XMR Swap Rates
Review indicative rates for the six primary Monero exchange directions available on the site:
- XMR to BTC
- BTC to XMR
- XMR to ETH
- ETH to XMR
- XMR to USDT
- USDT to XMR
Each direction has its own rate. For example, the result of swapping XMR to BTC cannot be calculated by simply reversing the BTC to XMR rate because liquidity, spread, fees, and execution conditions can differ between routes.
| Direction | Rate |
|---|---|
| XMR → BTC | 1 XMR ≈ 0.006727 BTC |
| BTC → XMR | 1 BTC ≈ 148.66 XMR |
| XMR → ETH | 1 XMR ≈ 0.205056 ETH |
| ETH → XMR | 1 ETH ≈ 4.8767 XMR |
| XMR → USDT | 1 XMR ≈ 520.68 USDT |
| USDT → XMR | 1 USDT ≈ 0.001921 XMR |
How the Monero Exchange Rate Is Calculated
An XMR swap rate begins with the current market value of Monero relative to the selected cryptocurrency. The calculation is then adjusted according to the direction of the exchange, available liquidity, order size, market spread, and the selected rate mode.
The amount entered also matters. Smaller and larger transactions can receive different effective rates because liquidity and execution costs are not always identical at every volume.
The calculator combines these factors to provide a preliminary result. The exact receiving amount is shown in the live exchange quote before you send cryptocurrency.
Fixed vs Floating XMR Swap Rates
You can choose between fixed and floating rates when both options are available for the selected pair and amount.
Fixed rate
A fixed rate protects the quoted receiving amount from ordinary market movement for a limited confirmation period. It can be useful when you want to know the expected payout before sending funds. If the quote expires or the deposit arrives outside the specified conditions, the exchange terms may need to be recalculated.
Floating rate
A floating rate follows the market until the exchange is executed. The final payout can therefore be higher or lower than the initial estimate. This option may be suitable when you accept short-term price movement in exchange for a rate based on execution-time conditions.
Rate-mode availability can depend on the selected direction, exchange amount, and current liquidity.
Reference Rate vs Final Monero Swap Quote
The rate displayed on this page is intended for calculation and comparison. It helps you estimate a possible exchange result, but it is not automatically the final rate applied to a transaction.
A live quote uses the conditions available for the selected pair at the time of confirmation. With a fixed-rate exchange, the quoted amount is reserved for a limited period under the displayed terms. With a floating-rate exchange, the result is recalculated using the rate available when the transaction is processed.
Market movement, quote expiration, deposit timing, and differences between the expected and received deposit amount can all affect the final payout.
What Affects the Amount You Receive
The final amount received from a Monero swap may be influenced by several factors:
- Current XMR market value
- Selected exchange direction
- Available liquidity for the pair
- Fixed or floating rate selection
- Market spread and price movement
- Deposit and payout network costs
- Exchange amount and processing conditions
Service fees generally range from 0.15% to 1.25%, depending on the route and current exchange conditions. Network costs may also affect the payout, particularly when sending or receiving assets with changing blockchain fees.
The usual minimum is approximately $11, while the maximum can reach the equivalent of 8 BTC. Actual limits are displayed for the selected pair before confirmation. For a detailed explanation of the costs, review the Monero swap fees page.
Common XMR Amounts and Estimated Values
Use the table below to compare common Monero amounts against BTC, ETH, and USDT. It provides a faster way to review several values without entering each amount separately in the calculator.
All values are generated from the current reference rates and may change when the rates refresh. They should be used for preliminary comparison rather than as guaranteed payouts.
